Preparation for the Christmas season has begun in the
Sunday School. The
young people have been busy making Chrismons and learning Christmas
carols. We will be having a
dress rehearsal for the Christmas pageant on Dec 15 during class time.
Most of the young people have been assigned roles in the pageant if
they indicated earlier that they will be attending the afternoon Christmas
Eve service on Dec 24. If
your child did not receive the notice, or has not been assigned a role,
please check with their teachers or with Kathy Mason.
Due to the large number of young people involved this year, it will
also be a great help if your child can bring a bath towel (plain or
striped) and a belt or rope to supplement our limited costumes.
Pieces of plain material and scarves will do wonders for headgears.
As well, animal costumes will be greatly appreciated.
Please put your names on the items that you are bringing so that
they can be returned to the rightful owners.
Please bring these costumes on Dec 15 so that we can try them out
and see what else is missing.
On Dec 24, please bring the young people to the
Church hall between 3:30 and 3:45 pm for rehearsal and preparation before
the 4:30 pm service. If you
are able to help out with the Sunday School on this day, please let the
teachers know. Thank you.
